A minimalist & timeless visual identity

The name MONA WIE is a blend of founder Ramona Wilmes’ name, showcasing her passion for fashion and dedication to reducing the industry’s ecological impact. She sought our expertise to launch a slow fashion brand featuring timeless, feminine clothing, driven by the belief that sustainability and style can coexist. We began our design journey by creating a logo featuring a glyph that subtly combines the letters M and W, utilizing serif typography to convey luxury while maintaining a modern and timeless look.

Responsible luxury

Continuing from the logo creation, we crafted a minimalist and bold look and feel for the brand, blending large elegant typography with stunning photos provided by the MONA WIE team. We paid special attention to the selection of printed materials and printing methods to reflect the high quality of the clothing while minimizing environmental impact. We chose recycled paper and, in some cases, utilized letterpress printing by Portuguese artisans to ensure exceptional quality and sustainability.

Design in service of style

To highlight the stunning collection photos, the design is intentionally understated, allowing these visuals to take center stage. This approach prioritizes showcasing the intricate details and subtle cuts of the garments, effectively immersing the target audience in the brand’s universe and enhancing their experience with MONA WIE’s aesthetic.
